This collection is often referred to as Zebra Blinds, with solid and sheer fabrics alternating in stripes to change the light control and privacy. But, within the Hunter Douglas Banded Shades collection, you have access to even more!

  • Two Fabric Shade Layers
  • Solids and Sheers Rotate for View & Light Filtering
  • Pattern Options: Stripes or Geometric Shapes
  • Entire Window Shade Rolls Up Out of the Way
  • Room Darkening Available

At Window Fashions of Texas, we love offering window coverings that provide a range of atmosphere options. These dual roller shades rotate fabric layers, from sheers to solids. Adjust from light filtering sheer view-through, to solid privacy and light blocking in one quick rotation. Room darkening is available. Banded Shades offer unique design, available in straight lines and geometric design for visual interest at the window. When you want a wide open view, they roll up into the headrail, completely out of the way. Set the scene in your home with the beautiful backdrop of the Hunter Douglas Banded Shades collection.

Banded Shade Patterns

The rotating sheer fabric layers of Designer Banded Shades come in two different looks to create a stunning backdrop for your home. Also known as zebra blinds, the traditional choice is bands of solid fabrics that alternate with sheer stripes. With Hunter Douglas Banded Shades, you can also choose a geometric pattern, which changes form as the double layer shades rotate.

How Do Zebra Blinds Work?

One small rotation lines up the solids to completely block the view out–and into your home. This positioning also blocks the sunlight from entering your home. When adjusted for view-through, the fabrics rotate so you have a sheer view through the window shade. Entering light is softened as it passes through sheer fabric layers. The entire shade rolls up and into the headrail when you want bare windows.
